6.0 Operations Plan

Dream Dishes will follow a simple operations plan. Its lean size ensures the restaurant will have small overheads and costs.

 

Here’s a breakdown of the employees’ roles:

6.1       Functions

The restaurant will have:

  • 2 chefs per shift
  • 3-4 employees for service
  • Katrina will be the Kitchen manager, handling all orders and inventory and employee shifts
  • Bethwell John will be the general manager. Assisted by Katrina in operations, he will oversee business partnerships, manage the ordering process, and the development of daily events, specials, and future growth.
  • Bethwell and Katrina will hire a few family members to help during the initial stages of the business.

6.2       Milestones

Dream Dishes intends to grow to be the premier restaurant for home-style meals in Fort Worth and open a second location in the next 12 months.

Here are some of the milestones leading to the achievement of this goal:

  • 1/07/2023: Employ its first professional social media manager
  • 30/07/2023: Hire and train a new chef to help in the kitchen as the business grows
  • 30/11/2023: Finalize loan repayment
  • 31/12/2023: Finalize lease agreement for the second location
  • 1/o2/2024: Design plan for the new branch
  • 6/03/2024: Hire and train 4 employees for the second location
  • 10/05/2024: Launch of the second branch
